Rear Cover Install Kit, LML Duramax | 2011-2016

The Merchant Automotive Rear Cover Install Kit provides the components needed to reseal the rear engine cover on 2011-2016 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the LML 6.6L Duramax diesel, and 2011-2016 Chevy Express and GMC Savana vans with the LGH 6.6L Duramax. It includes the rear main seal, the rear cover coolant seal kit, the oil cooler and water pump gaskets and seals disturbed during the job, a flexplate bolt 8 pack and RTV sealant. Before You Order

• Other items to consider: a new Rear Engine Cover and rear cover dowel pins. These are not included.

Installation Tips

• The factory flexplate bolts are torque-to-yield and should not be reused. Install the new bolts included in this kit.
• Clean all sealing surfaces on the block and rear cover before installing the new gaskets and sealant.
• Replace every seal and gasket that is disturbed during the job.
