CP3 Injection Pump Install Gasket Kit, LB7 | 2001-2004

The Merchant Automotive CP3 Fuel Injection Pump Install Gasket Kit includes the seals, gaskets and fuel hoses for removing and reinstalling the CP3 high-pressure fuel pump on 2001-2004 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel. Getting to the CP3 means removing the intake Y-bridge, turbo inlet, coolant pipes and fuel hoses. This kit includes the seals for those parts, plus the pump bracket and pump-to-adapter seals. It also includes a new Merchant Automotive CP3 return hose and front fuel feed hose, so the old hoses don't have to go back on.

When to Use This Kit

Use this kit any time the CP3 is removed, whether you are replacing the pump or reinstalling the original. New fuel hoses help prevent leaks and air getting into the fuel system on the new pump.

Installation Tips

• Owners on the DuramaxDiesels forum note that the CP3 adapter O-rings are not reusable and can be tricky to seat, so take your time fitting the new ones.
• Replace the banjo bolt seals rather than reusing the old ones to help prevent fuel leaks.
