Fuel Injection Pump Front Feed Hose, LB7 | 2001-2004

This molded front feed hose from Merchant Automotive is for the fuel injection pump on the 6.6L Duramax LB7. It is built for diesel fuel and replaces GM 97216066. The factory rubber hose hardens and cracks with age and heat, which leads to diesel seepage and can let air into the fuel feed to the pump. This hose installs in the factory location.

Key Features

  • Molded hose that replaces GM 97216066
  • Built for diesel fuel
  • Molded to the factory shape for a direct-fit install
  • Sold individually; one required per engine

Benefits

The LB7's rubber fuel hoses are now well past their service life. A cracked feed hose at the injection pump can cause fuel seepage, fuel smell, hard starts or rough running if it draws air. Replacing it restores a tight seal on the feed side of the pump. Replace if worn or damaged. Commonly replaced at the same time: Merchant Automotive Fuel Feed Hose, Duramax | 2001 - 2004, Merchant Automotive CP3 Injection Pump Return Hose, Duramax | 2001 - 2004.
