Fuel Injection Pump Bracket O-Ring, Duramax | 2006-2026

This Merchant Automotive O-ring seals the fuel injection pump bracket (adapter) to the engine block on 6.6L Duramax trucks and vans. It replaces GM 12638504 and is molded from Viton, a fuel- and oil-resistant fluoroelastomer, to hold the seal at engine temperatures.

Benefits

When this O-ring hardens or flattens, oil can seep from between the pump bracket and the block. Since the bracket has to come off to reach the seal, a new O-ring should go in any time the injection pump or bracket is removed. Replace if worn or damaged. Viton holds up to heat and fluid exposure better than standard nitrile rubber.

Fitment

Fits 2006-2026 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML or L5P Duramax, including 2007 Classic body trucks. Also fits 2006-2016 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana 2500 and 3500 vans, 2009-2016 Express and Savana 4500, and 2006 Chevrolet Kodiak C4500 and C5500 with the 6.6L Duramax. One O-ring per engine.
