PCV Oil Separator Seal, Duramax LML LGH | 2010 - 2016

This PCV oil separator seal replaces GM part number 12625150. It is the O-ring that seals the crankcase ventilation (PCV) oil separator on the 6.6L LML and LGH Duramax diesel. It fits 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks and 2010-2016 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans. The oil separator pulls oil mist out of crankcase gases and returns it to the engine. A hard or cracked seal lets oily vapor seep out around the separator, leaving the top of the engine wet and oily. The PTFE coating helps the O-ring slide into place without rolling or pinching during installation.

Benefits

A fresh seal stops oily crankcase vapor from seeping out at the separator and keeps the engine bay clean. While the PCV system is apart, also replace the PCV Drain Ventilation Hose Fitting Seal and the PCV Valve Seal, Turbo Resonator.
