Turbo Mouthpiece Inlet Seal, LML LGH Duramax | 2011-2016

This seal fits between the turbocharger air inlet adapter (the "mouthpiece") and the turbo on the 2011-2016 LML 6.6L Duramax and the LGH Duramax in Express and Savana vans. It replaces GM 12631851, which GM calls the turbo air inlet adapter seal or air inlet lower seal. It keeps intake air from leaking at the turbo inlet, and keeps dirt from getting in, once the air has passed through the filter.

Benefits

A torn or hardened inlet seal can let unfiltered air and dirt reach the turbo compressor wheel, so it's worth replacing any time the intake or turbo is removed. Replace if worn or damaged.
