EGR Valve Gasket, LML LGH Duramax | 2011-2016

This multi-layer steel (MLS) gasket seals the EGR valve mounting flange on the 2011-2016 LML 6.6L Duramax and the LGH Duramax in Express and Savana vans. It replaces GM 98062923 and is built to OE specifications. Sealing the valve flange keeps hot exhaust gas from leaking at the EGR valve.

Benefits

An EGR valve gasket should be replaced every time the valve is removed. A reused MLS gasket may not reseal, and a leak here lets exhaust soot escape at the valve. Torque the bolts to spec, because overtightening can damage the gasket. Replace if worn or damaged. Fitment

Fits 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD with the LML Duramax, and late 2010-2016 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana 2500, 3500 and 4500 vans with the LGH Duramax. For 2007.5-2010 LMM trucks, use the EGR Valve Gasket | 2007.5 - 2010. For 2017 and later L5P trucks, use the EGR Valve Gasket L5P | 2017 - 2025.
