This is the genuine GM lower engine oil pan, GM part number 12669869, for the 2011-2016 6.6L Duramax LML trucks and the 2010.5-2016 Duramax LGH vans. The lower pan bolts to the upper pan and forms the bottom of the two-piece oil pan. It replaces the earlier GM numbers 12627247 and 12650979.

Benefits

The lower pan sits at the bottom of the engine, where it takes hits from road debris, rocks and off-road obstacles. Replace it if it is dented, cracked or leaking. A dented pan can also crowd the oil pump screen. An OE pan matches the factory bolt pattern and drain location, so it bolts to the upper pan without modification. Commonly replaced at the same time: Engine Oil Drain Plug, Duramax 2001-2016 and Oil Pan Baffle, Duramax 2011-2016.

Fitment

Fits 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the 6.6L Duramax LML, and 2010.5-2016 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana 2500 and 3500 vans with the 6.6L Duramax LGH. For the upper section, use the Upper Engine Oil Pan, Duramax 2011-2016. For 2001-2010 trucks, use the Lower Oil Pan, Steel, Duramax 2001-2010.
