GM Lower Oil Pan, Steel, Duramax | 2001-2010

This is the genuine GM lower engine oil pan (GM 98073535) for the 2001-2010 6.6L Duramax, covering the LB7, LLY, LBZ and LMM engines. It's a direct-fit replacement for a corroded, dented or leaking factory steel pan, with a corrosion-resistant coating, and it comes with a drain plug. It bolts to the aluminum upper oil pan.

Benefits

The lower pan takes road salt, rocks and the occasional jack point, so rust-through, dents and seepage at the drain plug or flange are common on older trucks. A new GM pan restores the factory fit, and the new drain plug saves reusing a worn one. Replace if worn or damaged, and plan on a new pan gasket at install. Fitment

Fits 2001-2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the LB7, LLY, LBZ or LMM Duramax, including 2007 Classic body trucks. Also fits 2006-2010 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana 2500 and 3500 vans and 2009-2010 Express and Savana 4500 with the 6.6L Duramax.
