This is the banjo seal for the turbocharger oil feed pipe at the turbo on the 2004.5-2016 6.6L Duramax LLY, LBZ, LMM and LML trucks and the 2006-2016 Duramax vans. It replaces GM part number 97331137. The seal keeps pressurized engine oil from leaking where the feed pipe's banjo fitting bolts to the turbocharger. Two are required per engine.

Benefits

Banjo seals crush to form their seal, so the standard practice is to install new ones whenever the turbo oil feed pipe is removed. That includes turbo replacement, turbo removal for other engine work, and chasing an oil seep at the turbo. A fresh pair keeps oil on the turbo bearings and off the hot exhaust side of the engine.

Fits 2004.5-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the 6.6L Duramax LLY, LBZ, LMM or LML, and 2006-2016 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana 2500 and 3500 vans with the 6.6L Duramax. For 2001-2004 LB7, use the Turbocharger Oil Feed Pipe Banjo Seal, Duramax 2001-2004.
