Adding fluid capacity to your Allison transmission helps to keep it cool. This is made easy by this Merchant Automotive Allison 1000 Deep Pan Kit. This kit adds approximately three quarts of fluid to the system thanks to the larger deep transmission pan, deep sump internal filter, genuine Allison spin on filter, and a Merchant Automotive deep filter lock.
