Allison 1000 Deep Pan Kit with Deep Filter Lock | 2001-2019

Adding fluid capacity to your Allison transmission helps keep it cool, and the Merchant Automotive Allison 1000 Deep Pan Kit makes it easy. It fits 2001-2019 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax diesel and the Allison 1000 transmission, as well as 2001-2007 8.1L gas trucks equipped with the Allison 1000. The kit adds approximately three quarts of fluid to the system with a larger genuine Allison deep transmission pan, a deep sump internal filter, a genuine Allison spin-on filter and a Merchant Automotive deep filter lock. Transmission fluid is not included. We recommend TranSynd 668 Full Synthetic Transmission Fluid.

Before You Order

• Pan gasket: this kit does not include a transmission pan gasket. Order a new Allison 1000 Transmission Pan Gasket to install with the deep pan.
• Fluid: transmission fluid is not included. We recommend TranSynd 668 Full Synthetic Transmission Fluid, or see the Allison 1000 Deep Pan Kit with TranSynd for the same kit with 3 gallons included.

Installation Tips

• Install the deep internal filter with the included filter lock to hold it in place.
• Install the pan with a new pan gasket.
• Replace the external spin-on filter at the same time.
• Refill with the correct transmission fluid, then check the fluid level with the engine running and the transmission at operating temperature.
