This is the 49 Spline Transfer Case Mainshaft for a GM NP261XHD or NP263XHD transfer case found in 2001 to 2007 GM Duramax vehicles. This is the part that transfers the power through the transfer case directly to the rear driveshaft output. The Mainshaft Snap Ring is included.
NOTE: If there was confirmed or suspected chain to mode fork contact within the transfer case be sure to thoroughly inspect the mainshaft and mainshaft sleeve hub. The two should have a zero tolerance fit with no lateral play between them. If there is any play or wiggle between the two both the mainshaft and the mainshaft sleeve hub should be replaced.
