This gasket seals the lower valve cover to the cylinder head on 2004.5-2016 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax diesel (LLY, LBZ, LMM and LML), plus 2006-2016 Chevy Express and GMC Savana Duramax vans. If the valve cover is removed for engine service, inspect these gaskets carefully for deterioration and replace them if any damage is found to ensure a leak free repair.
