Injector Fuel Return Line Seal 8 Pack, LML | 2011-2016
This set of 8 injector fuel return line seals is for the 6.6L Duramax LML. Each seal goes where the fuel return (leak-off) line connects to the injector, and there is one seal per injector, so a single pack covers all 8. These seals should be replaced any time the return lines come off, including during injector replacement. A reused or hardened seal can let diesel seep onto the top of the engine.
Key Features
- 8 injector fuel return line seals, one per injector
- Sized for the LML injector return line connection
- Also called leak-off line seals
- 8 required per engine; one pack does the job
Benefits
Return line seals take heat and fuel exposure on top of the engine and lose their seal once they've been disturbed. With all 8 in one pack, every injector gets a fresh seal during an injector or valve cover job, with no single seal left as the weak point. Replace if worn or damaged. Commonly replaced at the same time: Injector Body Seal 8 Pack | 2011 - 2016, Fuel Injector Hold Down Bracket Bolt.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many seals do I need?
One per injector, so 8 per engine. This pack includes all 8.
Can I reuse the old seals?
We don't recommend it. Once a seal has been heat-cycled and the line removed, it often won't reseal, and a small fuel leak on top of the engine is hard to track down later.
Is a special tool needed to pull LML injectors?
Our Fuel Injector Removal Tool Kit, Duramax | 2011 - 2016 makes a stuck LML injector much easier to remove without damaging the injector or the head.
Fitment
