Injector Body Seal 8 Pack, LLY LBZ Duramax
Overview
This 8 pack of injector body seals is for the 6.6L Duramax LLY and LBZ. Each seal fits between the fuel injector body and the cylinder head. There is one seal per injector, so a single pack covers the whole engine. Replace the body seals any time the injectors are removed. A worn seal can leak combustion gas or let oil past the injector.

Benefits
With all 8 seals in one pack, every cylinder gets a fresh seal at the same time and nobody has to track down singles mid-job. Before seating each injector, lightly coat the seal with clean engine oil and make sure the bore is clean, with no old seal material left behind.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do these fit the LMM?
No. The LMM uses a different body seal. Order the LMM Injector Body Seal 8 Pack instead.
Can I reuse the old body seals?
We don't recommend it. A seal that has been heat-cycled and compressed may not reseal, and a leak means pulling the injector again.
What else should I replace while the injectors are out?
Most techs also replace the Injector Copper Washers, the Return Line Seals, the Return Line Clips and the Upper Valve Cover Grommets.
Is a special tool needed to pull the injectors?

- A 2004.5–2006 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 with the 6.6L Duramax LLY
- A 2006–2007 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 (Classic) with the 6.6L Duramax LBZ
- Not a 2007.5 or newer LMM, LML or L5P
