GM FICM Mounting Bushing, Duramax LB7 LLY | 2001 - 2005

The FICM bushing, GM part number 97236713, is the mounting bushing for the fuel injection control module (FICM) on the 6.6L LB7 and LLY Duramax. It fits 2001-2005 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks. The FICM controls the injectors, and these bushings isolate its electronics from engine vibration and heat. Over time the bushings harden, crack or go missing, which lets vibration reach the module and can shorten its life or loosen its mounting. Replace worn bushings any time the FICM is removed or replaced.

Fresh bushings protect the FICM from vibration damage and keep it mounted securely. When you service the FICM area, also replace the Fuel Line Banjo Seal at FICM, and check the 2001-2004 Fuel Filter Head to FICM Hose or the 2004.5-2005 Fuel Filter to FICM Hose.
