This is the genuine GM crankshaft position sensor exciter ring, also called a reluctor or tone ring (GM 97226119), for the 2001-2005 LB7 and LLY 6.6L Duramax. The crankshaft position sensor reads this toothed ring to tell the engine computer exactly where the crankshaft is, which sets injection timing.

Benefits
