This is the Mainshaft Synchro Hub Snap Ring for a GM NP261HD, NP263HD, NP261XHD or NP263XHD transfer case found in 2001 to 2007 GM Duramax vehicles as well as some 1998-2007 GM half ton trucks and SUVs. It is used to secure the Range Hub in place on the Mainshaft inside the transfer case.
