This is a brand-new replacement front output shaft main support bearing for GM transfer case models: NP246, NP261HD, NP263HD, NP261XHD and NP263XHD.
The bearing is located in the front half of the transfer case and can be damaged if there is an internal hard part failure with metal debris that can get stuck in the bearing causing it to fail. It can also fail due to lack of lubrication from a “pump rub” failure.
Note: The bearing may come with a snap ring groove in it.
