Fleece LB7 Cupless Cylinder Head, Driver Side | 2001-2004

The Fleece Performance Freedom Series cylinder head is a new-casting, fully assembled replacement head for the driver side of the 2001-2004 LB7 6.6L Duramax. Its cupless injector bore does away with the injector cups entirely, so there are no cups to install, leak or replace later. Each head is assembled in Fleece's Freedom Racing Engine shop and pressure and leak tested before it ships, making it a good fit for daily drivers and towing trucks.

Benefits

Injector cups are a known leak point on the LB7, and a leaking cup can let coolant or fuel get where they don't belong. A cupless bore removes that failure point for good. Because the head is a new casting assembled with new valvetrain parts, it goes on ready to install, with no machine-shop wait and no core to rebuild. Fitment

Fits 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the LB7 6.6L Duramax. This is the driver-side (left) head. For the other side, use the Freedom Series Duramax Cylinder Head with Cupless Injector Bore, Passenger Side.
