Transfer Case Front Output Seal Driver | 2007.5-2019 Duramax

The Merchant Automotive front output seal driver installs the front output shaft seal in the MP1226 and MP1626 transfer cases used behind the 6.6L Duramax LMM, LML and L5P. It is sized to the seal so it presses in square and to the correct depth without denting the seal case or rolling the lip. That is hard to do with a socket or a hammer and drift.

Benefits

A front output seal that goes in crooked or too deep will leak again, often in a few hundred miles, and the front driveshaft has to come back out to fix it. The driver spreads the force evenly across the seal so it seats flat on the first try. Commonly used with: Transfer Case Front Output Seal, LMM LML L5P | 2007.5-2018.

Does this include a handle?
No. The driver fits our Steel Seal Driver Handle, which works with all of our seal drivers and installers. An O-ring on the handle holds the driver in place.

Which transfer case do I have?
2007.5-2019 Duramax trucks with 4WD use the MP1226 or MP1626 transfer case. 2001-2007 Classic trucks use a different case and a different seal.

Do you sell the other transfer case seal drivers?
