Oil Cooler Outlet to Block Seal, Duramax | 2001 - 2016

This oil cooler seal replaces GM part number 94399279. It is the O-ring that seals the engine oil cooler outlet to the engine block, on the oil pressure relief valve side, on the 6.6L Duramax diesel. It fits 2001-2012 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks (LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM and early LML) and 2006-2012 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans. It also fits 2003-2006 Duramax medium-duty Kodiak, TopKick and T-series trucks. Oil passes through this joint under full pressure, so a hardened or flattened O-ring lets oil seep from the cooler. Always install new seals any time the oil cooler is removed.

Benefits

A fresh O-ring restores a leak-free seal at the cooler outlet. The other end of the cooler uses the Engine Oil Cooler Seal (97216175), so replace both together.
