Direct OEM replacement for the indirect fuel injector. Also sometimes known as the “9th” injector. This injector mounts in the exhaust and introduces fuel during regeneration to increase the temperature, aiding in the regeneration process.
A common failure for these is to leak, and not seal shut completely, allowing fuel to enter the exhaust when not required. This can lead to emission faults.
