EGR Cooler to Up Pipe Gasket, LLY LBZ Duramax | 2006-2007
This gasket seals the joint between the EGR cooler and the exhaust up pipe on the 6.6L Duramax in 2006 and early 2007 Classic Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 trucks with the LLY or LBZ, and in 2006-2007 Express and Savana vans. GM lists it as the EGR valve cooler gasket, part number 97372002. Ours is made by MAHLE and replaces GM 97372002. A leak at this joint is an exhaust leak, which can show up as an exhaust smell under the hood and soot around the connection.
