This 8 pack of fuel injector O-rings from Merchant Automotive is for the 6.6L Duramax L5P. Each O-ring seals the injector body in the cylinder head bore. There is one O-ring per injector, so a single pack covers the whole engine. The O-rings replace GM 12686813 and are Viton, 75 durometer, bagged and labeled by Merchant Automotive. Replace them any time the injectors are removed. A worn or reused O-ring can leak combustion gas or let oil past the injector.

Before seating each injector, lightly coat the O-ring with clean engine oil and make sure the bore is clean, with no old seal material left behind. Replace if worn or damaged. Can I buy just one?
Yes. The genuine GM O-ring is sold individually as the Fuel Injector O-Ring L5P, LM2, LZ0 | 2017 - 2025.

Do these fit the LML?
No. The 2011-2016 LML uses a different body seal. Order the Injector Body Seal 8 Pack, LML Duramax | 2011-2016 instead.

Can I reuse the old O-rings?
We don't recommend it. An O-ring that has been heat-cycled and compressed may not reseal, and a leak means pulling the injector again.
