Left Hand Fuel Rail, Driver Side, Duramax LML | 2011-2016

This is the driver-side (left hand) high-pressure fuel rail for the 2011-2016 6.6L Duramax LML, GM part number 12651989, manufactured by Bosch. The rail receives high-pressure fuel from the CP4.2 injection pump and feeds the four injectors on the driver's side of the engine. It comes with the fuel pressure relief valve and fuel rail pressure sensor already installed.

Benefits

When an LML's CP4.2 pump fails, it sends metal debris through the high-pressure system, and that debris settles in the fuel rails. Reinstalling a contaminated rail can damage a new pump and injectors, which is why rails are commonly replaced as part of a CP4 failure repair. A new rail is also the fix for a rail with damaged threads or sealing surfaces. Because this rail comes with the relief valve and pressure sensor installed, you aren't moving old, possibly contaminated components onto a new rail.

2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD with the 6.6L Duramax LML. Driver side only; for the passenger side, use the Right Hand Fuel Rail, Duramax 2011-2016.
