This is the passenger-side (right hand) high-pressure fuel rail for the 2011-2016 6.6L Duramax LML, GM part number 12620532, manufactured by Bosch. The rail receives high-pressure fuel from the CP4.2 injection pump and feeds the four injectors on the passenger side of the engine.

Benefits

When an LML's CP4.2 pump fails, it sends metal debris through the high-pressure system, and that debris settles in the fuel rails. Reinstalling a contaminated rail can damage a new pump and injectors, which is why rails are commonly replaced as part of a CP4 failure repair. A new rail is also the fix for a rail with damaged threads or sealing surfaces.

2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD with the 6.6L Duramax LML. Passenger side only; for the driver side, use the Left Hand Fuel Rail, Duramax 2011-2016.
