Each injector cup requires two O-rings, and this complete 16-piece kit includes enough seals to service all eight cylinders. As a common trouble area on LB7 engines, deteriorated injector cup seals can contribute to coolant leaks, cooling system pressurization, and other engine performance concerns. Replacing these O-rings during injector service or injector cup removal helps maintain proper sealing and prevent costly cooling system problems.

Installation Notes

Clean the injector cups thoroughly and carefully seat the new O-rings during installation. Injector cup sealant is required at the bottom of the injector cup and is sold separately. Replacing the O-rings whenever the injector cups are removed is recommended to maintain proper sealing.
