The genuine GM 24267704 transmission dipstick tube is the driver-side (left-hand) fill and dipstick tube for the Allison 1000 transmission on 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L LML Duramax. You check and add transmission fluid through this tube. A bent, cracked or rusted tube can leak fluid, make the dipstick hard to seat or read, and let dirt into the transmission. This factory tube replaces earlier GM part numbers 24258844, 24258255 and 24251362.
