Allison 1000 Rotating Clutch Housing Bushing | 2001 - 2016

The genuine Allison 29531072 bushing is the rotating clutch housing bushing for the Allison 1000 transmission. It fits 2001-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax diesel, from the LB7 through the LML. The bushing supports the rotating clutch housing and keeps it aligned as it turns. A worn bushing lets the housing wobble, which leaks off clutch apply pressure and can lead to slipping, harsh or delayed shifts, and extra wear inside the transmission. Replace it any time the transmission is overhauled or the bushing shows scoring or excess clearance.
