This molded injection pump return hose from Merchant Automotive is for the 6.6L Duramax LBZ and LMM. It is built for diesel fuel and carries return fuel away from the CP3 injection pump. Like the factory rubber hose, it cracks and swells with age and heat cycles, which can cause fuel seepage, fuel smell and air in the fuel system. This hose replaces GM 12625278 and installs in the factory location.

Benefits

A hardened or cracked return hose at the CP3 is a common source of diesel seepage on the top of the LBZ and LMM, and the leak can let air into the fuel system. Replacing this hose when it's worn or damaged, or any time the CP3 or fuel lines are serviced, takes care of one of the oldest rubber pieces in the low-pressure fuel system. Replace if worn or damaged.

Fits 2006-2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the 6.6L Duramax LBZ or LMM. One hose required per engine. For 2004.5-2005 LLY trucks, use the MA Injection Pump Return Hose, Duramax | 2004.5 - 2005. For 2001-2004 LB7 trucks, use the Merchant Automotive CP3 Injection Pump Return Hose, Duramax | 2001 - 2004.
