Merchant Automotive 1/2" Spring Clamp Pair for 2001-2004 6.6L Duramax LB7 Fuel Hose

This pair of 1/2" spring clamps secures the LB7 Duramax low-pressure fuel hose, GM part number 97216067, at both ends. Spring clamps hold constant tension on the hose, which is how the factory fuel hoses are retained on the LB7.

Benefits

LB7 fuel hoses run at low pressure on the supply side, so a weak clamp can let fuel seep out or let air into the system, which causes hard starts or lost prime. Spring clamps keep consistent pressure on the hose as it heats, cools and ages, where a worm-gear clamp can loosen or cut into the rubber. Old spring clamps lose tension and often rust, so install new clamps whenever you replace a fuel hose.
