ACDelco 178-1037 (GM part number 19371362) is the hydraulic power brake booster (Hydro-Boost) for 2007.5–2010 LMM 6.6L Duramax Silverado and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks. It sits between the brake pedal and the master cylinder and uses pressure from the power steering pump to multiply pedal force, giving the heavy-duty brakes their assist. Replace it when the booster leaks power steering fluid, the pedal is hard or inconsistent, or the brakes lose assist.
