This is the upper transmission fluid cooler line (GM part number 15170219, "Pipe Assembly, Trans Fluid Cooler Upper") for the Allison 1000 transmission in 2003-2005 LB7 and LLY 6.6L Duramax trucks. It's the outlet pipe in the factory cooler line set, carrying transmission fluid between the Allison and the transmission cooler at the front of the truck.
