This is the genuine GM positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) crossover pipe assembly (GM 97357033) for the 2004.5-2005 LLY 6.6L Duramax. It carries crankcase vapors across the engine as part of the LLY's PCV system. It's an exact OE replacement for a cracked or leaking factory tube.

Benefits

The LLY's PCV crossover tube is known for cracking with age and heat, which leaves an oily film on top of the engine and can make it hard to tell whether a leak is from the PCV system or somewhere more serious. Replacing the tube stops that weep at the source. Replace if worn or damaged.

Fitment

Fits 2004.5-2005 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the LLY 6.6L Duramax. It does not fit the 2001-2004 LB7 or the 2006 and later LBZ.
