This is the outer tie rod end for 2011 and newer Silverado and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax. It connects the steering linkage to the steering knuckle. A worn outer tie rod causes loose or wandering steering, clunks over bumps, and uneven tire wear, and should be replaced as soon as play is found. GM part number 84467789.

Installation Note
