The Merchant Automotive Deluxe Seal Kit includes every seal needed to overhaul the 261XHD transfer case used behind the Allison on 2001-2007 Duramax LB7, LLY and LBZ trucks. It covers the front input, front output and rear output seals, the shift selector shaft seal, the speed sensor and detent plug O-rings, the pickup tube seal and the transmission adapter gasket. Instead of ordering each seal separately, you get everything in one kit.

How do I know I have a 261XHD?
Check the ID tag on the rear half of the transfer case. 2001-2007 Duramax trucks use either the 261XHD or the 263XHD. If your tag reads 263XHD, use the Transfer Case Seal Kit 263XHD | 2001-2007.

Does it fit 2007.5 and newer?
No. 2007.5 and newer trucks use the MP1226 or MP1626 transfer case, which takes different seals.

Fits the 261XHD transfer case in 2001-2007 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 4WD with the 6.6L Duramax LB7, LLY or LBZ (Classic body). Confirm the transfer case tag reads 261XHD before ordering.
