ACDelco Coolant Temp Sensor, Duramax LB7-LMM | 2001-2010
This is the ACDelco GM Original Equipment engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor, GM part number 15326386, for the 2001-2010 6.6L Duramax: LB7, LLY, LBZ and LMM. It reports coolant temperature to the ECM, which uses it to set fueling and timing and to drive the dash temperature gauge. A failed sensor or a bad connection can set a check engine light or make the gauge read erratically.
Key Features
- ACDelco 213-928, GM part number 15326386
- Replaces earlier GM numbers 12146312 and 25036979
- GM Original Equipment part
- 2-terminal blade connector
- Sold individually
Benefits
An OE sensor reads coolant temperature to factory calibration, so the ECM and gauge get the same signal the truck left the factory with. On these trucks, the plastic connector on the sensor often gets brittle and can break during engine work, so check it closely when the sensor is replaced.
Fitment
Fits 2001-2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 with the 6.6L Duramax: LB7 (2001-early 2004), LLY (2004.5-early 2006), LBZ (2006-early 2007) and LMM (2007.5-2010).
