The genuine Allison 29531089 thrust bearing is the early-design bearing for the T1 and T6 positions in the Allison 1000 5-speed transmission. It fits 2001-2005 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L LB7 or LLY Duramax. The T1 bearing sits at the input shaft and C1 clutch hub, and the T6 position uses the same bearing. Worn thrust bearings cause noise, extra endplay and clutch wear, so every bearing should be replaced during an overhaul. Allison used both an early and a late design in these positions, so measure your old bearings before ordering.
