The Calibrated Power 10 Bar MAP Sensor is designed for high-performance diesel applications requiring accurate boost pressure measurement beyond factory sensor limitations. When paired with compatible Calibrated Power tuning, this sensor allows the factory ECU to read boost pressures up to 100 PSI, making it ideal for heavily modified trucks equipped with larger turbochargers or compound turbo setups.
Factory MAP sensors typically reach their measurement limits around 32-36 PSI of manifold pressure, restricting accurate boost datalogging and engine calibration at higher pressures. This upgraded sensor extends the ECU's measurement capability, allowing Calibrated Power to more accurately calibrate air-fuel ratios throughout the powerband for cleaner operation and improved tuning precision in high-horsepower applications.
