Properly secure the the cylinder head in a 2001 to 2016 GM Duramax 6.6L V8 engine with this replacement bolt.
These bolts MUST be replaced every time they are removed, they are not reusable. Reusing torque to yield fasteners will result in incorrect clamping and failure.
NOTE: Sold individually. 18 bolts are required per cylinder head. 36 bolts are required per engine.

Torque to Yield
Starting in the middle and moving towards the outside, torque each bolt evenly following these settings.
Step 1 : 37 ft lbs.
Step 2 : 59 ft lbs.
Step 3 : 60 degrees
Step 4 : 60 degrees
