The ACDelco 15-40580 is a GM-recommended replacement thermal fan clutch for 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD with the LML 6.6L Duramax. It controls fan speed based on the temperature of the air coming through the radiator, engaging the engine-driven fan when the truck needs cooling and slipping when it doesn't. It's built to GM OE specifications for fit, form and function.
