This is the genuine GM/Allison 2-6 and 3-5 reverse clutch piston return spring (part number 29546698) for the C3 and C4 clutches in the Allison 1000 transmission behind the 2011-2019 LML and L5P 6.6L Duramax. It pushes the clutch piston back when apply pressure is released, so the clutches release cleanly between shifts.
