Thermostats Review

- |

Overall Video was very good.
Some feedback. Replace the oring every time you remove the tube. Squirt some oil into the hole of the pump as a prelube before final install. Clean and inspect suction screen for damages replace if needed.
Leave the factory supplied magnet in place it's surface is much larger then your drain plugs also grabs magnetic debris before entering the pump.
Compliment the system by using you magnetic plugs as added control of magnetic debris.
Supply new pump screws and a torque spec as there easily stripped not all transfer cases use Torx some use Phillip's head screws.
Apply thread locker on case half bolts as well and don't discard the cup type washers there used as a corrosion preventer.
Show damaged cases in the video so people understand what happens. Also show bad bearings verse new bearings, promote the use of new parts like seals and gaskets.
Also some transfer cases use a wave washer against the pump you want to show correct location if used.

Great products you have keep you the great work !

Were same as oe

Quality kit

After watching their video on thermostat replacement I ordered this thermostat kit. It also has the necessary inch Oinch rings for the job. Installation is not difficult with the correct tools, the only frustration I had was relative to draining the fluid without a factory drain. As a side note, it's only necessary to drain about 1 1/2 gals of anti-freeze to complete this job.

LLY T-stats

Not only were the parts correct, they fixed my temp issue completely. Also, a major thanks for Eric’s simple but thorough video covering T-stat diagnosis and replacement. The job went exactly as he described. Added bonus points for the info on the bleeder bolt for refilling the coolant. I never would have guessed that’s what it was!

Exactly what was needed

- |

They send you everything you need to change your thermostats. And the video instructions are a big help. Only thing I would add is, after you bleed the coolant system, start your truck and keep adding coolant until the resivoir is full. Merchant hit it out of the park as usual

Solved my warmup problem.

Product worked well, how to video answered any questions. Now the truck warms up quickly and doesn't throw an under temp code.

OEM Quality Parts!

Once again, MA has provided me with OEM quality parts at a fraction of the OEM price! I really appreciate the inch kitsinch that MA provides so I won't inadvertently forget to order a gasket or seal needed to complete the repair. As a former dealership parts manager, I like the idea of inch kitsinch . I used to put together kits for common repairs in the shop and the technicians and parts countermen liked the ease of getting inch allinch the parts need for a repair. Keep up the good work MA! I will definitely be a returning customer, as I have no intention of letting go of my 2009 LMM currently has 147K miles. We all know that inch all things mechanical can failinch so I hope it's not too often but I know I'll need you again!

LB7 Thermostaat replacement

- |

This replacement kit included everything I needed to R & R the thermostats while I was replacing the injectors. the cooling system had to drain for the injector replacements so this is a good time to change out the thermos. They are factory OEM, it included the rubber o rings, the o ring for the oil filler tube and was a very simple job. make sure you put the thermostat with the two small holes at the rear of the thermostat housing with those 2 small holes toward the rear of the engine, then put the other thermostat in the front.

Cooling System Service.

Replaced thermostats, hoses, coolant and installed coolant filter at 140K on my 06 LLY. Truck hadn’t been warming up properly for some time and started throwing a operating temperature time code. Verified easily with a temp gun on the tstat housing that it wasn’t sending unit or gaugecoolant would only reach 150-158 after a decent drive. Products were all very good except the lower radiator hose which was a C+ AC Delco aftermarket peice that just didn’t fit right, it works, but I would go with the dealer piece if I did it again.
