Transmission Upgrade Kits
You have added the extra horsepower with your new tuner, maybe added an intake and exhaust package and now your ready to go to the next level. All of that additional horse power is no good if you cant get it to the ground. Typically, when adding more then 100 hp over stock the stock transmission has a hard time transmitting that power. The internal components simply are not intended to hold that much power. Stock clutches, hydraulic circuits and torque converters are engineered to hold just a small percentage more power and torque then the OEM specifies.
Now that your ready to get the transmission upgradeded, you may have some questions
Upgrading the transmission in your diesel rig can be a very costly upgrade and one that needs to be done right the first time. In the world of performance upgrades, this can be the most expensive thing you do short of engine work. Take your time, get educated and choose the best option for you. First, be honest with yourself on what your going to do with the truck. Do you simply use the truck to tow? If your using the truck as a tow rig, plow truck or commuter transportation, our MA450 kit maybe right for you. Looking to do some sled pulling, drag racing, or other forms of competition use? Got aftermarket turbo or injectors? You should be looking at our MA700 kit. Rated to hold 700 HP, this will hold up to the rigors of competition. Got big twin turbos and nitrous? You need to look at our MA1000 kit, you can throw the kitchen sink at it, it does not matter.
First, lets look at the options offered for your transmission upgrade. I’ve gone away from all the confusing “stages” and “levels” often associated with an upgrade. Its easy to get caught up in all of the competition of naming a transmission kit Extreme or Stage V and so on. To make it more simple for you to decide I’ve labeled them by a conservative horsepower rating. The MA450 kit is rated at 450 RWHP, the MA700 kit is rated at 700RWHP. How do we get the ratings? Real world testing, years of experience and hundreds of units built. Lots of trial and error has been done, things have been tried that did not work, some things that do work. I've taken the guess work out for you.

MA450*
This transmission is intended as an upgrade over stock or for the owners looking for a dependable towing setup. Features a single disk billet cover torque converter, a host of hydraulic improvements for improved clutch apply, converter apply and longevity. Also includes all new Torrington bearings and select bushings as well as a complete gasket and seal kit and all new OEM clutches and steels making this not just an upgrade package, but a true overhaul as well. You will get the Allison deep pan and filter kit as well and even the Filter-Loc to round out the package.

MA700*
Looking for a competition ready upgrade? This is the answer. Includes our three disk billet cover converter in a nearly unlimited choice of stall speeds. We’ve done the machine work for you, install additional clutches in area’s that need the most attention with a drop in kit. I’m going to give you all the hydraulic improvements you can use as well as the heavy duty friction material needed to hold up to the demands of your powerful diesel truck. Just like all our kits, you also get a complete gasket and seal kit, new bearings, select bushings and new molded pistons for clutch apply. Also includes the Allison deep pan, filter kit and the Filter-Loc to hold it all in place.

MA1000*
The ultimate transmission package! Includes everything in our MA700 kit as well as billet input and output shafts. If your making big power, you need a big transmission to hold it. This is it!
* Ability to hold rated horsepower levels is effected on driving habits and engine and transmission calibration. Transmissions that are abused from excessive temperature, careless or “show off” type driving may not be able to withstand rated horsepower for extended periods. Proper engine and transmission tuning is essential to long transmission life.
