| To insure you get the correct parts it is recommended that you look at the tag on your case half.

GM has used a couple different transfer cases in the full size trucks since 1999. We proudly offer parts for all of the New Venture units. In order to find the parts you need, you first need to establish what transfer case you have for your application.
There are a couple ways to identify it.
First, how is it shifted? Is it a floor shift unit? Is it an electronic shift unit? How many buttons are on the selector?
This is the four button transfer case with the Auto 4x4 setting.

This transfer case is a floor shift unit. Its usually found behind the 6.0 gas engine
|
This is a push button shift transfer case. Generally found behind the 6.0 engine in the 1500HD and 2500 trucks. It is also used in 2500 Suburbans and Avalanches
